PTCL Announces VSS Scheme to Offload Employees
PTCL has announced the giving of Voluntary Separation theme (VSS) for its workers who would like to quit jobs against hefty incentives.

Sources within the corporate said that this upcoming VSS supply is geared toward downsizing of workforce with mutual edges for each the staff and also the company itself.

A notice issued by HR department of PTCL (pasted below – in Urdu) says that workers can don't have any pressure from the management to quit jobs by claiming VSS. It said the choice for claiming VSS are going to be purely from workers on their consent.



Notice said that people who would like to not claim VSS giving will continue operating for PTCL with all their rights.

It perhaps recalled that PTCL had offered VSS back in 2008, through that some thirty,000 workers were offloaded who had claimed VSS then.

Incentives offered through VSS campaigns are still unclear. At an equivalent time PTCL workers are looking forward to court ruling regarding their pay scale, that may play an important role in determining the ultimate VSS incentives for workers.
